The Central Penn Business Journal honored the top fifty businesses that made significant contributions to the growth, strength and success of the Central PA region during the 10th Anniversary Top Fifty Fastest Growing Companies awards breakfast at Hilton Harrisburg on Monday, September 18. Navarro & Wright is proud to announce its rank of number #19 on this year's list.
The actual ranking of the fifty winning companies was not revealed until the Top Fifty Fastest Growing Companies awards breakfast. David A. Schankweiler, publisher of the Central Penn Business Journal, served as emcee for the event. The breakfast and awards ceremony also featured guest speaker John Resnick, principal of Resnick Associates and host of WHP-AM 580's "Legends of Success".
Companies must show revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending 2003, 2004, and 2005 and demonstrate revenue growth in 2005 as compared to 2003 (a three year period) in order to be eligible for nomination. Eligible companies must be for-profit entities headquartered in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York County.
Seligman, Friedman & Co., P.C., presenting sponsor, calculated the nominations and ranked the companies according to revenue growth over the 2003-2005 period. Dollar and percentage increases were both considered. Large and small companies received equal consideration as a result of this formula.
The Top Fifty Fastest Growing Companies were also profiled in a special supplement to the September 22 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal. The complete list of honorees was published in ranked order along with information on each company's financial growth.
