Project Overview:
Navarro & Wright Consulting Engineers, Inc. provided professional services to Manheim Area Economic Development Corporation that were associated with the preparation of a Hydraulic Analysis for a portion of Little Chiques Creek located between the Reading Railroad Bridge and the East Steigel Street Bridge. Navarro & Wright provided HEC-RAS Model of 100-year water surface elevations for existing conditions based on existing cross-sections and bridge routines provided by FEMA. Navarro & Wright ran Model and analyzed the results, then compared them to existing FEMA Flood Insurance Study. Navarro & Wright designed a detailed concept plan as part of the HEC-RAS Study, as well as provided additional cross-sections as required by modeling criteria dictated by FEMA and DEP.
